Haven of Biodiversity

When the earth is reborn

When I discovered this old two-hectare fir forest, life seemed to have gradually withdrawn from it.

I dreamed of turning it into a haven of peace, and since then, I have been patiently guiding it so that nature can regain its beauty.

An orchard of old fruit varieties adapted to the region has been planted on a small part of the estate. On the rest of the land, I leave plenty of room for spontaneous vegetation, while supporting the return of diversity through some plantings and landscaping.

A sanctuary for the mind

At the apiary, time seems to stand still. The birdsong, the scents of nature, and the hum of the bees invite you to slow down. In their presence, I reconnect with nature, find a precious serenity, and draw new energy.

The promise of blooms

Linden, chestnut, willow, hazel, lavender, clover, and other melliferous species have been gradually introduced to enrich the landscape. Over time, their blooms follow one another, offering precious nourishment to both bees and wild pollinators when flowers become scarcer.

Without fertilizers or pesticides, each planting contributes to the patient rebirth of this ecosystem.

A refuge for discreet lives

A pond, nesting boxes, and areas left wild have transformed the apiary into a true sanctuary. Birds, butterflies, insects, frogs, lizards, foxes, and deer now find refuge there. A little owl has even settled in, like a fragile symbol of this restored biodiversity. The number of hives remains intentionally limited so that the honeybees can harmoniously share this territory with wild pollinators.

About us

Passionate about gardening, a nature lover, and concerned about being able to offer healthy products to my children, I started looking for land to create an organic orchard.

In 2014, I found the rare gem: an abandoned fir plantation in the middle of a nature reserve in Viroinval. Since then, my ambition has been to create a corner of paradise for local wildlife and a place where my loved ones and I can recharge our batteries.

Sensitive to the disappearance of bees and eager to help them, I started beekeeping in 2018. My children joined me in this beautiful adventure, and given the success of the harvests, we decided to sell the surplus.
